D.L. Campbell, Son of Bruce, is an emergency medicine doctor who works in Tennessee and frequently travels to Oregon, where his heart lives. He’s continually inspired by real-life patient encounters and integrates them into his novels, while changing specific ages, sexes, and descriptions to honor patient privacy.
He is father to two sons, of whom he is infinitely proud. He has been writing for thirty years and, when pressed, will admit he was first published in Cat’s magazine. He was called to medicine at thirty-six after a career in finance and has a passion for working with persons with disabilities. He also has a professional interest in the field of men’s health.
